Designing for human-
centered futures
A portfolio of product and experience design work by Rachael Cicero.
My Core Skills
I’m a product and experience designer with a background in strategy and operations, a master's degree in Human-Centered Design & Engineering, and experience working with organizations like Twitter, Uber, Microsoft, and the City of Seattle.
-
I specialize in helping teams design inclusive product and service experiences from 0 to 1. Using a combination of design research, wireframing, prototyping, and evaluation, I transform ideas into high-quality, tangible designs that meet user needs and align with business objectives.
-
I offer a comprehensive approach to driving design initiatives while building organizational capacity. By collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, I develop strategic plans, including problem framing, OKRs, design roadmaps, and opportunity areas, integrating human-centered design and innovation to drive growth.
-
I oversee and coordinate the end-to-end execution of design projects. I ensure effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, working within timelines, budgets and resources to maximize the impact of design initiatives, maintain quality standards, and drive meaningful outcomes.
